Ready for Stain

The Client wanted the floor to remain dark and somewhat rustic. We did smooth out the floor quite a bit.

Our client wanted to get rid of that orange floor...

...and wanted to go dark.  So we sanded it it all off and went with an ebony stain.

This parquet floor was covered with carpet and had multiple layers of carpet adhesive on top of it.  

It took some work to scrape the adhesive off before we could sand...

...but it was all worth it in the end.
